Our coffees are individually roasted on-site, fresh to order in small batches, with impeccable detail to enhance the regional flavor nuances of each coffee bean, while considering the roast darkness preference of each customer. With a commitment to coffees of exceptional quality that value the land and communities from which coffees originate, Grains of Sense is a Certified member of TransFair USA, is Rain Forest Alliance Certified and makes it a practice to purchase coffees that are sustainably grown or direct-trade relationship varietals. Grains of Sense is located in historic Staunton, Virginia; a quaint, vibrant community in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Grains of Sense coffees are Certified as being one of Virginia's Finest; the distinction is clear in every cup.
Grains of Sense works with the country's finest tea importers to select teas of exceptional quality that will best feature the chosen flavors, flowers and nuts. When possible, teas that are sustainably grown and fairly trade are utilized. Our teas are hand-blended as ordered to maintain optimal freshness. A process of experimentation, customer feedback and exacting precision has allowed us to develop a unique tea and flavor combination bursting with flavor from box to cup that will indulge one's senses. These are teas unlike any others. Grains of Sense teas are also Certified as Virginia's Finest.

Shipping is just $6.49 per order regardless of how much coffee or tea is purchased! Grains of Sense fills customer orders as received, As such, it typically takes 48 - 72 hours to prepare and ship orders from the date the order is received.
